What is Participatory Documentary and how it works

The Participatory Mode (the encounter between film-maker and subject is recorded, as the film-maker actively engages with the situation they are documenting, asking questions of their subjects, sharing experiences with them. Heavily reliant on the honesty of witnesses) - Definition

Participatory cinema tries to involve a film's community in the process of making movies, rather than interaction being left to cinema viewers at the end of the process. The organizers of participatory cinema open up cinema showings and the cinema production process for non professionals. - Wikipedia

Participatory documentaries include RiP!: A Remix Manifesto.

When Louis met the Humiltons Family

Partycipatory Documentary is one of documentaries where presenter and object are main element of film. Louis' programme i which he met many different people gives us perfect example of participatory documenatary in one of his films he I could say risk his life, during meeting with skinheads which hates jewish... and I supose he is jewish. To film When Louis met the Nazi they used few techniques of film making like: Presenter, Music in background few times, Handheld camera, Two shots, Over shoulder shot, Head room (which I spotted) Narrator/Voice over also establishing shot. His documentary was about few people of millions from america very proud of their racist views which they teach it their children.
